Virtual Platform (VP)

The Virtual Platform (VP), developed as part of the European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD), is a growing federated ecosystem of Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) resources, ready to serve the rare disease (RD) research community.

This interactive platform includes catalogues of resources, registries, biobanks, knowledge bases and tools compliant with agreed standards. Several patient registries established and managed by ERNs already take active part in the network.

The VP Portal allows users to simultaneously search all VP network resources in real time, to find those of interest to their research.
